Napa Valley, in particular is considered wine country and home of many famous and profitable vineyards. One vineyard in particular stands out, not only for their wine, but they way that the vineyard is run. Frog’s Leap Winery is a stand out vineyard and should be considered a role model for other vineyards. John Williams is the founder and CEO of Frog’s Leap Winery. Williams had a degree from Cornell University and had a farming background due to his parents being dairy farmers from New York. Williams and his business are known for being responsible for creating the wine industry’s “most sophisticated environmental management system”.
